im buying a GPS but i want something that i can use in canada, usa and for europe. what should i do?

I'm mainly staying in north america and will be travelling to europe. I want to purchase a garmin/tomtom gps. but i dont the details of buying. please help me.

Many Tom Tom's and Magellan's come preloaded with Europe and USA maps, but whichever system you buy, you can buy an additional update for many countries from the manufacturers site. My personal preference is Garmin. They are most user friendly and can easily be updated.

buy a TomTom,

and buy 3 regional chips... i.e. Canada, America, and Europe.

We just bought a Garmin c330 at Walmart. It can be used anywhere, and you can plug it into your computer for updates. It looks fairly easy to use, and that's what we were looking for.
